Build above the clouds.

A block swings over your tower. Tap to drop it. Whatever hangs over the edge breaks off, so every floor gets narrower, unless you land it perfectly. Read the wind, keep the tower level, anchor to passing clouds and ride out the storms.

Sky Stack gameplay: a ten-floor tower in a storm with rain, a gust warning and the stars x2 ribbon
How it works

Three floors of rules. That's it.

Sky Stack fits in one sentence and still takes a while to master. Every build stacks the same three steps.

1

Drop

Tap anywhere on the sky to let the swinging block fall. Prefer a button? Switch to the big DROP button in Settings.

2

Stack and adapt

Overhang is trimmed away. Perfect drops keep full width. The sky warns you before every gust and storm.

3

Upgrade

Spend the stars you earned in the Workshop, hire new builders and climb higher next time.

Signature mechanics

Four systems that make every tower different.

They are not power-ups you collect. They are the weather and physics of the sky, and they play off each other.

Wind streaks pushing a block toward a windsockWind gusts

Read the wind

A windsock and a banner warn which way the next gust will blow. While it blows, the block drifts and slides a little after it lands, so you drop early against the wind. Storm gusts hit much harder.

A leaning tower and a spirit level with the bubble near the red endTower lean

Keep it level

Every off-centre drop tilts the whole tower. A spirit level at the bottom of the screen shows how close it is to giving way. Past the red mark it topples, however wide your blocks are. Perfects pull it back.

A cloud beside the top of the tower and a block glowing as it anchorsCloud anchors

Catch a cloud

Now and then a glowing cloud drifts past the top of the tower. Land a block while the cloud covers it and the tower anchors: the floor grows back to near full width and the lean resets to zero.

Dark storm clouds, lightning and a star coin with times twoStorm bands · Sky Lantern

Weather the storm

From floor 10 a five-floor storm rolls in, then returns every twelve floors. Gusts get stronger and every floor pays double. Three perfects inside one storm light the Sky Lantern, and the next three blocks centre themselves.

The workshop

Five blueprints for a taller tower.

Stars come only from building: every floor, every perfect drop, every cloud anchor and every storm floor. Spend them on permanent plans.

Foundation

A wider base block gives you more room for mistakes.

58% → 78% width

Steady Hands

Widens the perfect zone so more drops snap into place.

±6 → ±15 pt

Windbreak

Weakens how far gusts push and slide your blocks.

100% → 30% gusts

Ballast

Lets the tower lean further before it topples.

lean 1.0 → 2.1

Star Charm

Every star you earn is worth more.

×1 → ×2.5 stars
The crew

Six builders, one free, five to hire.

Every builder plays the same. Each paints the tower in their own palette and rides along on every block you drop.

Do I need an internet connection to play?

No. Sky Stack is fully offline. Upgrades, builders and records live on your device.

Can I buy stars?

No. There are no in-app purchases. Every star is earned by building.

My tower topples even though the blocks are wide.

That is the lean. Off-centre drops add up even when little gets trimmed. Land perfects or anchor to a cloud to level it, and buy Ballast to raise the limit.

The wind makes me miss.

Watch the windsock: it turns before the gust starts. Drop a little early on the side the wind is coming from, or build the Windbreak plan.

I switched phones. Where is my progress?

Progress is stored locally. Restore the new device from an iCloud or computer backup to bring it along.
